The camera
is looking approximately North
from our kitchen window. You can see neighbors' houses in the winter,
but they become hidden as the trees leaf out. [Check the Deck
Cam History for examples.] Even though there
is a lot of activity at the bird feeder, they are often absent when the camera
fires, or at least hard to see. The large black birds are grackles
and/or starlings. Ugly, but they show up well. You may also see
large fuzzy brown things, which are doves. Cardinals, woodpeckers and blue jays are
also frequent visitors, but I have not managed to get a good shot of them
yet. We also get lots of smaller birds, but I won't tease you with the
specifics. Around 7:00 or 8:00 in the evening there is a real good
chance of activity in the bbq.
BTW, If you see an image
that has something interesting, please save it and
it to me. Thanks.
ps: There is a site that is almost
this interesting at CornCam.
